Amtrak's bi-level Superliners offer a measure of en-route comfort that only a cruise ship can match: a private sleeping compartment. Each includes:

Accommodations come in 4 different sizes: Deluxe Bedrooms, Family Bedrooms, Economy Bedrooms and Special Bedrooms for mobility-impaired passengers. To view each, click on the colored areas in the diagram above, use the buttons at the left of the screen, or simply scroll through this page.



The Deluxe Bedroom is the ultimate in sleeping car travel. Sofa and armchair by day, converting to 2 comfortable berths by night. Includes private sink and vanity, and a fully enclosed private shower and toilet. Certain units can be combined into a Deluxe Suite.

In-room amenities include fold-down tray, 110V outlet, attendant call button, lighting and climate controls, clothes closet, soap and towels.





The Family Bedroom occupies the entire width of the lower level, with private windows on both sides of the room! It's furnished with a long sofa and 2 child seats during the day, converting to an upper and lower adult berth plus 2 short child-size berths. Restrooms and shower are just a few steps away.

In-room amenities include fold-down tray, 110V outlet, attendant call button, lighting and climate controls.



The Economy Bedroom is designed for 1-2 passengers, with 2 reclining seats framing a big picture window. At bedtime, the seats convert to a lower berth, and an upper berth folds out from the wall. Located on both levels, with restrooms nearby.

In-room amenities include fold-down tray, 110V outlet, attendant call button, lighting and climate controls.



Designed for passengers with special mobility requirements, plus a wheelchair. Occupies the entire width of the lower level, with 2 facing seats by day, upper and lower berth at bedtime. Sink, vanity and toilet are all wheelchair accessible, separated from the room by privacy curtain. "Room service" available.

Upper level: One unit with sink, vanity and toilet.

Lower level: Four units with sink, vanity and toilet. Public shower with soap, washcloths and towels also located on this level, for exclusive use of Family Bedroom and Economy Bedroom passengers.

Every coach, cafe and lounge car also has public restrooms on the lower level.
